About Paradox

Paradox is published in March, June, September, and December each year for the benefit of the members and friends of the Des Moines Science Fiction Society. It contains articles of general interest, as well as information on upcoming meetings, member "milestones" (birthdays, anniversaries, and the like), and ongoing reports regarding the progress of DemiCon, Des Moines' annual fantasy and science fiction convention. It is currently available at no charge to all interested persons -- and we don't mean just via this website. If you'd like to receive a copy via U.S. Mail, let us know by contacting us using any of the means listed in the "Subscriptions and Submissions" section below.

Subscriptions & Submissions

All submissions to Paradox are welcome. We will use as many articles as space permits. Subject matter can be anything that is of general interest to the "fannish" community: reviews (F & SF books and films, games, other conventions, etc.), details on upcoming events, interviews with interesting people within the genre, news of latest scientific developments -- you can probably think of dozens more!

You can request a Paradox subscription or submit an article via any of the following means:

  • U.S. Mail:
    Paradox
c/o The Des Moines Science Fiction Society, Ltd.
